Session 3: Starting your research
Note: need computers this session. Prepare to be set up.
Note: Not all students need the computers, but they might be researching a creative project within themselves and just thinking creatively. But it needs to be a process.

Before you think of what you need to do, can you imagine where you are going? What will you have at the end? Brainstorm on a piece of paper.
Starting your research: Where do I start?
- • Write down where your answers are going to come from.
- o Interviews?
- o Computer/internet?
- o Visit/observe somewhere?
- o Creative thinking?
- o Trial and error type experimenting?
Have short dance party for brain break
GO!! Do it! E.g look for resources on the internet or identify who you want to interview and what questions you would ask, or where you need to go and observe
Volunteers: Progress check-in, see where they are, connect with every student and prompt a further challenge (kick it up a notch!)
