Yunasa, the Lakota word for balance, is a one-week residential
summer camp for highly gifted youth that teaches campers
techniques for integrating the intellectual, emotional, social,
spiritual, and physical aspects of their lives.

Yunasa is offered each summer in Michigan. This year,
IEA will hold Yunasa West, a second camp, in the beautiful
Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Yunasa West will include
guided imagery sessions, yoga, workshops led by experts in
giftedness, and traditional camp activities. Campers will build
friendships with other gifted youth and gain confidence in a
physically and emotionally safe environment.

Location: YMCA Camp Shady Brook in Sedalia, CO
Cost: $1,450 (includes food, lodging, and all activities)
