2012-2013 Late Start Classes

Late Start Classes are Back!

The late start classes are starting next week on October 17th.  We have hired 3 certified teachers to host 3 different classes for our TAG students.

For our 1st and 2nd Graders

“Write like David Shannon” – the author of the “No David” books has a particular style of writing and illustrating.  This will be an author study where the students will study the author and create projects using his style for inspiration.

For our 3rd and 4th Graders

A 1920’s Era Study – An in-depth look at the 1920’s in America.  Students will learn about the history, inventions, important people and the culture of this time.

For our 4th and 5th Graders

Extreme Weather on Earth and in our Solar System - Students will explore weather and tools scientists use to measure weather on Earth and in the Solar System. They will make inquiries and comparisons between atmospheres on Earth and on other planets.

Please scroll down to see the sign-up for each of these classes.

Please note, the classes are grade specific.  However, 4th Graders can choose which of the 2 classes they want to attend (there are more 4th graders than any other grade level, that is why they get 2 choices).
